Coffee workshop with Julie & Antoinette from Australia and Janice & Lavinia from the Philippines

Julie and Antoinette, a mother-daughter duo from Australia, and Janice and Lavinia, two friends from the Philippines, came together in our coffee workshop. They instantly clicked with pure joy, lots of laughter and a special connection brewed over a shared love for coffee.

Welcome our lovely friends: Julie and Annie from Australia, Janice and Lavinia from the Philippines, one shared table – let the coffee magic begin! ☕

For Julie, l5 years ago she came here as a volunteer teacher, not just visiting but truly living and belonging. So now, coming back with her daughter Antoinette wasn’t just for chasing nostalgia, she was passing on a piece of her youth, her love for Vietnam’s calm beauty, kind hearts and a sense of connection.

“Making coffee is really like doing science!” Measuring ingredients for coffee had never felt this exciting - a little science, a lot of fun!

Moment of truth: Ingredients on, fingers crossed. Will it be perfect or a classic case of “fault scale” again? 😆

Every moment was filled with endless joy and laughter. Here comes the legendary scale check: “Will it be perfect this time, or fault scale again?” 🤭 Everyone leaned in, held our breath, eyes fixed on the scale, cheering like it was MasterChef. Measuring ingredients for coffee had never felt this exciting - a little science, a lot of fun!

Lavinia & Janice rocking the egg whisk like pros – friendship and foam, both thick and strong! 👯‍♀️✨

You can feel the fun just by looking at this moment! 💥 Who knew making coffee could bring this much joy?

Eyes locked on the scale, everyone held their breath for the ultimate scale check. 👀

Just like friends who hadn’t met in a long time, we made coffee, we talked, laughed, danced, and we had the best time!

“We will, we will rock you!” - Music up, hands shaking, everyone on their feet. Not sure if it was the rhythm of the shakers or the energy in the room, we all forgot this was a coffee workshop. It felt more like a lively concert, the kind you don’t want to end. When the music stopped, we looked around, still smiling, still moving, wishing it could last just a little longer. It wasn't just about learning how to make coffee, it was about feeling at home, sharing cultures, and making memories that stick like sweet condensed milk. 💛

“We will, we will rock you”! Who wants to join our concert? 🥁💃

Voila! Our homemade Vietnamese coconut coffee is ready! ☕✨
1, 2, 3… Dôôô! 🥳

So much fun posing with the iconic conical hats - “nón lá” – a timeless Vietnamese symbol 🇻🇳✨

Grateful hearts and happy smiles – thank you for bringing your energy, stories, and all the joyful moments we shared!
