Hanoi street food tour with Brad, his wife and Marina

Marina from France and Brad & Ros from Australia joined our Taste of Hanoi tour, and what a delicious adventure it was! From slurping pork rib porridge (Marina’s all-time favorite!) to giggling over tiny stools and learning to mix green papaya salad like locals, they ate it all - no hesitation, just pure foodie joy!

Marina even returned solo to revisit her favorite spots before flying home. But that wasn't enough for Brad and Ros. They decided to come back for another tour - off the beaten path with even more adventurous eats. 🙌

By the end, we weren’t just full, we were friends. That’s the magic of food: it connects strangers faster than you can say “cheers with chè!” 🥣💛

Let's say hello to our foodies - the Holt team from the UK: Helen, Ruth, Adam, Rachel, Oli - and of course, Linh (who officially joined the family halfway through the tour)! 🎉🍜

These foodies were on fire! Adam and Oli jumped into every dish with full enthusiasm, devouring them with such speed and appetite that it was hard to keep up. Meanwhile, the mums, Ruth and Rachel, couldn't resist going for extra portions of “cốm xào” and “chè kho” to satisfy their love for Hanoi's iconic delicacies.

From the first bite of “bánh mì” to the last sip of fragrant tea, every stop was filled with laughter, stories, and shared moments. The food was incredible, but it was the joy of experiencing it all together that made this tour truly unforgettable. By the end, our bellies were full, and our hearts even fuller – the perfect combination of culinary exploration and genuine connection.

Moments like these make us love what we do even more: meeting passionate food lovers from all over the world, introducing them to Hanoi's vibrant food scene, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

We kicked off the day like true Hanoians - squatting on tiny stools and tables, dodging scooters, and devouring bánh cuốn fresh off the steamer! Who needs fine dining when you’ve got sidewalk style and rice rolls this good? 😋
At the green papaya salad stop, Linh showed everyone how to make nộm like a true local. Stories flew and chopsticks clacked as Linh demonstrated how Vietnamese people really eat and chat around the table. 🇻🇳
At the Vietnamese donut stop, everyone picked two different kinds from the many choices... and guess what? Everyone loved their picks! 🍩✨
Because honestly, who can resist crispy, golden, Hanoi-style bánh rán?
We squeezed through a hidden alley to find one of Hanoi’s secret cafes… and Brad’s head nearly touched the ceiling!
Sometimes the best spots are the hardest to find, but always worth it. ☕✨
This was Brad and Marina’s favorite dish: pork rib porridge! We can’t describe how much Marina loved it. She quickly finished her bowl and wouldn't stop talking about it after the tour. When a dish hits the heart, you just know!
