A HANOI food tour for couples

Say hello to Rachael and Magnus - our lovely couple from the United Kingdom, spending a whole 3-week getaway to discover Vietnam. And today, we are ready to dive into the Hanoi food tour!

Our duo enjoyed every stop, from refreshing, tangy “nộm” – Vietnamese green papaya salad to the comforting warmth of“bún riêu” - river crab noodle soup. But the star of the show? It had to be “bánh cuốn” – steamed rolled rice pancakes. One bite and Rachael immediately went “Wow… how can something be this good?”!

What made the day even better wasn’t just the food. It was the experience and the connection. After learning a few Vietnamese phrases from Casey, both Rachael and Magnus became so much more confident interacting with our friendly local vendors. At the final coffee stop, while enjoying refreshing drinks, we ended up chatting for hours, about literally everything! It didn’t feel like a tour but a hang out with friends.
