Quality time with grandma and grandchildren - sounds like a perfect plan! Let’s welcome Elizabeth and three of her grandchildren joining our Taste of Hanoi tour for a very special trip together.
Almost everything was new to the kids, and they happily tried every dish and praised each new flavor. Among all the local eateries Casey walked them through, “Bánh cuốn” – steamed rolled rice pancakes quickly became Elizabeth’s favorite for its soft and delicate texture. The sweet highlight of the night? Definitely “chè” – Vietnamese sweet soup. Both “chè xoài” - mango sweet soup and “chè khúc bạch” - panna cotta version won everyone over with their light sweetness and rich coconut milk.
But beyond the food, what made the day truly special was the time they shared together. The kids wanted to spend as much time as possible traveling with their grandmother. Traveling through Hanoi, tasting dishes and chatting along the way, they created simple yet meaningful moments, the kind that turn a trip into a memory they’ll always carry with them.
Scroll through the photos to see this lovely Hanoi evening with Elizabeth and her grandchildren.
