Sweet bowls, big life stories, A Taste of Hanoi to remember

We’re so happy to welcome Karen and Anthony from the UK & Laura’s group from the US to our Hanoi food tour today, ready to discover the taste of Hanoi with Casey, our local friend.

Casey led everyone into hidden spots where locals eat and let the city slowly unfold through its flavors and stories. Every dish was a yes, with curious bites, bright eyes, and happy nods after each taste: from “bánh cuốn” – steamed rolled rice pancakes, to “bún riêu” - River crab noodle soup,.... And just when they thought the brown sugar “bánh rán” – Vietnamese donuts were the star of the day, then came “chè” - Vietnamese sweet soup - the ultimate favorite with the creamy coconut milk.

But the most memorable moments were between bites and sips, when stories flowed and connection grew. Along the way, especially at the “chè” - sweet soup stop, Karen shared pieces of her life while Casey and others listened, adding their own stories about travel, work, and life. Somehow a group of strangers felt completely connected like old friends who had known each other for years.

Let’s join us and feel the warmth of this shared journey through the photos below!
